Astro 102 is an entirely web-based course for 1 credit.
The subject matter for 102 is "Finding your way around the solar system" with some historical background, a bit about orbits, and other background for planning a trip to Mars or beyond.
The textbook is a web site: www.polaris.iastate.edu, EveningStar portion, and is open to anyone to read and study, whether taking the course or not.
Quizzes and other for-credit features are administered via WebCT.
